By sourcing newspaper archives and census data\, she will demonstrate how she uses the resources of her public library to learn about the built environment around her. \n\n\n\nTuesday\, February 24 at noon\n\n\n\nThe Green Book in Columbus\, by the Columbus Metropolitan Library \n\n\n\nRecommended for ages 10 and up. \n\n\n\nJoin Columbus Metropolitan Library staff members from the Local History and Genealogy Department to learn about the Negro Motorist Green Book\, a guide published from 1936 to 1966 to help Black Americans navigate the dangers of segregation and discrimination while traveling the U.S. Explore the history of the guide\, Central Ohio Green Book sites and the people who made them possible in our community. \n\n\n\nAmerican Sign Language interpretation will be available. DESCRIPTION:This is a high-intensity in-person business plan development workshop that will walk you through creating a Bankable Business Plan\, including: \n\n\n\nMarketing strategies\, target niche and market\, SWOT\,  pricing strategy\, and financial projections\, all with the support of Certified Business Advisors and the help of AI. \n\n\n\nNow a 1 DAY IN-PERSON Class held at the Urban League of Greater Cleveland from 9:30 AM until 2:30 PM\, January 26th. \n\n\n\nLight morning and afternoon refreshments will be served. \n\n\n\nDuring this workshop we will dive into completing your business plan from start to finish with the help of AI and Business Advisors. You will be provided\, industry research\, and a step-by-step\, hands-on guidance.The goal of the Lab is to leave with a completed business plan. Additional\, technical assistance will be provided via 1 on 1 sessions to tweak and branding of the business plans if needed.
