Kappa Alpha Psi 2026 East Central Province Council & Community Impact Weekend

The East Central Province of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. will be hosting our 2026 Province Council in Columbus, Ohio from April 8–11, 2026, as we celebrate 106 years of service and leadership.
The East Central Province (ECP) includes alumni and undergraduate chapters across Ohio, West Virginia, and Southern Pennsylvania, and we are excited to bring hundreds of leaders, professionals, and students from across the region to Columbus for this important gathering.
In partnership with Franklin County, we are also proud to host our Community Impact Weekend on April 10–11, a series of public events focused on youth development, community wellness, and service. These initiatives are designed to create meaningful engagement with residents across Franklin County and to invest in the next generation of leaders.

Community Impact Weekend Highlights
Teen Summit: Empower the Future – Learn, Lead & Succeed
📍 Renaissance Columbus Downtown Hotel
📅 Friday, April 10
⏰ 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
(Registration begins at 8:15am)
The Teen Summit will bring together 300–400 Franklin County high school students for an interactive experience focused on financial literacy, STEM and AI, career readiness, digital branding, and college pathways. We are also giving out $40,000 in scholarships!! Students MUST attend conference to be considered for scholarships.
Students will rotate through six interactive zones:
• Money Moves – Financial literacy and real-world money decisions
• Innovation & AI Playground – Technology, robotics, cybersecurity, and future careers
• Career Launchpad – Professional headshots, mentorship, and career guidance
• Digital Boss Hub – Social media branding and entrepreneurship
• College & Future Pathways Pavilion – Scholarships, majors, and college preparation
• Wellness & Confidence Lounge – Mental wellness, confidence building, and mindfulness

Community Health & Wellness Fair

This festival-style community event will provide free health screenings, financial education, and wellness resources for residents. We have partnered with organizations including The Ohio State University, Mount Carmel Health, Bank of America, and other community partners to provide services and valuable information to attendees.

Public Meeting & Keynote Address
